Cost for each guest each time we open the Boys and Girls Club is about $15.

This cost is a combination of food, lunches, new clothing, laundry vouchers and other supplies. The cost is covered by donations of money and supplies such as soup or lunches and many other items from our volunteers or supporting Churches.  We also receive donations from outside sources.

We provide about 40 pairs of athletic sox each shower

We provide about 40 new tee shirts each shower

We provide about 40 men’s briefs each shower

We provide all of the women’s shower supplies each shower

 The above items cost about $5 per person for each shower

In addition guests also receive razors, toothbrushes, combs, aerosol deodorant, toothpaste and trial sizes (from hotels) of shampoo, soaps, lotion and many other items.

Donated supplies may be delivered to any of the churches listed on the Sponsoring organizations tab above.

      In addition to supplies, donations of money to support the laundry voucher program and purchase necessary items are vitally important. One hundred percent of all funds received are used for the homeless. There is no overhead.  Donations are tax deductible. Make checks payable to:         “IHN / April Showers" 

A donation of $50 would pay for the supplies for 10 guests to a Shower event.

A donation of $50 would pay for 10 laundry vouchers for 10 guests at a shower event.

A donation of $100 would pay for 100 pair sox for the homeless. 

Winter is coming and a pair of clean dry sox is a great gift !!
